is no big or small project but a canvas that is full of potential. Our design always comes with a series of thoughtful processes to ensure efficiency and depth of the design outcome, which are split into the following stages.
1. THE BRIEF
Every successful project usually starts with solid and rich information through direct or indirect communication with the client. During this time, we will communicate closely with the client to get our client’s requirements and aspirations and compile information from site visits, photos, and floor plans. We want to understand each client’s taste, style, and lifestyle. At the same time, we tackle the practical issues of the project, such as budgeting, time deadlines, and structural or administrative matters. Following up on the briefing stage, we will send a proposal to the client with an estimated budget for the FF&E and our associated design fee.
2. CONCEPT
This stage is a significant highlight since we aim for accuracy in interpreting the brief detailed into the concept designs that will be carried on until completion. At this stage, we will propose the concept designs with sketches, floor plans initiating the furniture layouts and any required structural changes, and a mood board presentation collecting samples of all proposed material finishes and furniture concepts. We hope our clients collaborate actively on this process by giving feedback so we can sync perfectly to achieve the desired outcome.
3. DETAIL
As we progress from the approved concept to the design development stage, we will translate all the concept ideas into the detailed design stage. That means we will prepare all complete technical drawings for the built-in purposes and the final bespoke furniture, finishes, curated artwork, and accessories for the client to approve. At this point, we will also present a detailed breakdown of costs according to the agreed budget.
4. REALISATION
At this stage, our project coordinators and designers are working hand in hand with the on-site coordinator and vendors to ensure the design specification and timeline schedule are progressing as planned. We will hold regular site meetings with the on-site coordinator, vendors, and client throughout the built-in process. We will also oversee any issues that arise on the site and initiate solutions, allowing the client to have peace of mind.
